Cursed Immortality

Maybe being immortal is a curse,

life is supposed to be short.

To see this world as a shortfall verse,

To give and take with a cruel snort.

.

Maybe being immortal is a curse.,

To watch loved one die.

Till no one else but you remain.

Not a person to talk to ,nor to spry

.

Maybe being immortal is a curse,

With weak bones and dimming sight.

Fragile & brittle with an empty purse,

Cracking bones and sick delight.

.

Maybe being immortal is a curse,

& maybe the great ones figured it out

& maybe they left a trail to us

To follow it without a doubt.

.

They found a way to immortality.

& they still live on , while being dead.

Just a matter of figuring it out.

To lie beside them,

To be immortal then.

Prisoners

This is a place of struggle and fears,
& everyone has those truths and tears.
Here people are crushed by the powerful Soo nice ,
But in the end who wins is rather wise.
.
In this place they get poorer or richer,
Hopeless foolish poor, and the Lynching Rich butchers.
But in the end everyone’s to demise,
But most are prisoners of their own device.
.
You will fail, everyone does.
The critics are flies, they will buzz
Sooner will you hear you own million cries
But don’t you care, fix your eyes on the prize
.
Things will be hard, the hardest stuff.
It it would be easy, you won’t be tough.
And if you fail, just stand up and Revice
And one day, you will, you must rise

Dead Poets Society

Dead poets society is that movie which gave me an inspiration to start writing poetry, hope it inspires you as well.

As said by Henry David Thoreau

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practise resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms…”

this is one of the scenes from the the movie

Learn Anything Faster

TO LEARN ANYTHING FASTER, JUST REMEMBER “FAST”.

THE F IN FAST STANDS FOR FORGET.

  • If you want to speed up ‘quick brain,’ you must temporarily forget three things.
  • Forget what you already know about the subject. A lot of people don’t learn faster because they feel like they already know the information. But your mind is like a parachute; it only works when it’s open.
  • Forget about anything that’s not urgent and important. You can’t multitask. If your brain is thinking about 4 different things, you’re not fully present – so you won’t learn quickly.
  • Forget your limitations. These are beliefs like your memory isn’t good, or you’re a slow reader, or you don’t have the right education to learn. But if you fight for your limitations, you get to keep them. Your memory isn’t fixed, and it is possible to remember hundreds of words and numbers the way I do onstage.

THE A IN FAST STANDS FOR ACTIVE.

  • In school, we were taught to learn by consuming information quietly. But you don’t learn by being lectured to. You learn by creating information and being active in the process.
  • Learning is NOT a spectator sport.
  • How can you be more active in your learning?
    • Ask questions.
    • Take notes.
  • The more active you are, the more you will learn.

THE S IN FAST STANDS FOR STATE.

  • Your state is a snapshot of your mood – the mood of your mind and your body. It’s the emotional well-being that you feel in that exact moment.
  • Information combined with emotion becomes a long-term memory.
  • Many of us don’t remember what we learned in school because the umbrella emotion for most people in school was boredom.
  • You are the only person in control of your state.
  • How can you improve your state?
    • Change your posture or your body or breathing.
    • Sit or stand the way you would if you were totally energized.
    • Think about how you’ll benefit from the information.
  • All learning is state-dependent.
    • Choose states of joy, fascination, and curiosity.
  • Sell your cleverness for bewilderment – Rumi.

THE T IN FAST STANDS FOR TEACH.

  • If you want to cut your learning curve in half, learn with the intention of teaching it to somebody else.
  • If you had to give a presentation on what you’re learning today, you would learn it differently. You would pay closer attention. You would take more detailed notes. You would ask better questions.
  • When I teach something, I get to learn it twice.
  • People often say that those who can’t do teach. But I never saw that as a negative. I always thought, wow, if I can’t do something, I can teach it, and then I can do it.

Materialism

This Materialistic World,
With Materialistic Men,
What good will it avail of me ?
An Instrument maybe.
With Materialistic Goals,
And Materialistic Aims.
What good will it serve for thee?
An efficient Machine maybe.
They said !!
That the machines would take over the world.
But isn’t it already theirs to be??
We are in a dream maybe .
All this money in the world,
The fame, an image.
Aren’t those bars of prison.
Don’t you see.
We all are blind prisoners maybe

Along the way

When there’s no hope, to do it all

And there’s no scope, in trying.

Still you shall try, with all your sway.

You shall ride ,along the way.

.

When you are hurt, and tears drop down

& you fall appart, due crying

Still you shall try and you shall pray.

And you shall pass, along the way.

.

When there’s no will, of standing up.

And there’s no chill ,in working.

Still you stand up, with all your sway.

And you shall pass, along the way.

.

when there’s no prize in showing up,

And it’s not wise to quit.

but still show up & find a way.

And you shall win along the way.

His World

Alone he stood, with a friend’s disguise
& For her was he willing to die
But she twisted him with scampish lies
While he concealed his sigh.||
But death wont touch him soon
Because he was no scamming prick
Righteous for the love and fortune
He had love no trick.||
And she payed every single sin she did
And all the prizes he won
Her beauty then worth a quid
With all her winnings scorned.||
And there he stood with all the cause.
And all success he whorled.
With a new life a new love.
His was the world.||

The Man Who Thinks He Can

If you think you are beaten, you are:
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you’d like to win, but you think you can’t,
It is almost certain – you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’ve lost;
For out in this world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will
It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you’re outclassed, you are;
You’ve got to think high to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win the prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the one who thinks he can!
